AS A MANUFACTURER, MAATS PRODUCES HIGH QUALITY PIPELINE EQUIPMENT UNDER ITS OWN LABEL. MAATS Pipelayers

The new MAATS RL26 Pipelayer is based on an existing LIEBHERR PR716 LGP Litronic dozer and truly is the best of both worlds: Liebherr trusted quality combined with the Maats long history of engineering and constructing pipelayers.

The MAATS RL26 is fitted with a LIEBHERR EU Stage IV & EPA Tier 4f engine rated at 107 kW. The operating weight is 23.300 kgs and the lift capacity is 27.500 kgs. Read more about the MAATS RL26 pipelayer.

LIEBHERR Pipelayers

The ever increasing size of pipe diameters resulted in the new Generation 6 LIEBHERR pipelayers. High performance and innovative technology describe the latest range of pipelayers. The stepless hydrostatic drive enables precise manoeuvring, even with heavy loads over rough terrain. The special Liebherr boom system and lifting cylinder guarantee exact control and the best lifting power.

The latest generation LIEBHERR pipelayers meet the EU Stage IV / USA EPA Tier4F emission standards and are to be conidered as the most efficient pipelayers currently available. Upon request the new generation pipelayers can also be ordered with engines that comply with the EU Stage IIIA / USA EPA Tier3 standards.

Liebherr currently manufactures the following pipelayers:

LIEBHERR RL46 Litronic with a lift capacity of 46.700 kgs
LIEBHERR RL56 Litronic with a lift capacity of 72.000 kgs
LIEBHERR RL66 Litronic with a lift capacity of 98.100 kgs

Maats welding tractors

In 2019 Maats introduced the SR716 LGP welding tractor. In line with the Maats tradition this machine is again based on an existing Liebherr product and comes with all the Liebherr safety features for the base machine and the Maats quality for the welding conversion and equipment.

The machine can be produced according to customer's demands but the standard specifications already include an HIAB crane, a PTO to drive an internal line-up clamp and a generator to power welding equipment. Read more about the MAATS SR716 LGP welding tractor

MAATS hydraulic Bending machines

The specially constructed high-strength-steel frame and heavy-duty Liebherr components easily provide the required bending capacity. The advanced machine lay-out and high quality materials ensure maximum performance, even under the most difficult conditions.

Currently Maats produces the following hydraulic bending machines:

MAATS BM06-24 for bending pipes ranging from 6" to 24"
MAATS BM16-30 for bending pipes ranging from 16" to 30"
MAATS BM22-36 for bending pipes ranging from 22" to 36"
MAATS BM32-42 for bending pipes ranging from 32" to 42"
MAATS BM36-48 for bending pipes ranging from 36" to 48"
MAATS BM48-60 for bending pipes ranging from 48" to 60"

All these units are - where possible - engineered with LIEBHERR components such as hydraulic cilinders.

MAATS ROLLER CRADLES

By using multiple urethane rollers on the MAATS roller cradles the pressure on the pipe is evenly distributed and the risks of damaging the pipe and ‘egging’ of the pipe are eliminated. The MAATS roller cradles provide the comfort of smooth operation. The urethane rollers ride easily over the weld seams and do not get stuck. The use of high quality materials throughout the design ensures maximum performance.

Maats supplies roller cradles from an outside diameter of 12" to 68" and a lifting capacity from 25 tons to 48 tons. Read more about the MAATS roller cradles.

Maats c-cradles

The MAATS C-cradle complies with all applicable standards and are supplied with CE certification. The standard equipped locking pin is an extra safety feature on the C-cradle. The locking pin secures the pipe in the cradle, preventing the pipe from dropping. The locking pin is easy and quick to use during operation.

The MAATS C-cradle is designed to handle pipes with a diameter ranging from 2" to 12,75" and a carry capacity of 3.200 kgs. Read more about the MAATS C-cradle.
