Maats is dedicated to reduce its carbon footprint and aims to create impact by changing its industry. Maats seeks to do this by providing its customers with the possibility to rent their pipeline equipment in a carbon neutral way. This means that all carbon emissions that are emitted during a project, are counterbalanced by sequestrating carbon from the atmosphere through reforestation and renewable energy offsetting projects. Additionally, Maats seeks to reduce its reliance on offsetting projects by improving the efficiency of its operations and by adopting more sustainable fuels, such as biofuels.
